Participation in "Nômade Cria: Arte na Rua"
The Nômade Cria: Arte na Rua festival hosted a contest for visual artists, encouraging creativity and artistic expression in urban spaces. Among the selected works, a standout piece was an artwork inspired by the Golden Lion Tamarin, created for the Sustainability category.
The choice of the golden lion tamarin was deliberate. Since the 1970s, the species has symbolized the fight for Brazilian biodiversity conservation, as it remains under constant threat of extinction. The artwork not only highlighted the richness of Brazil’s wildlife but also reinforced the urgency of environmental preservation.
The contest winners, chosen by both the curators and public vote, had their pieces exhibited on May 20 and 21, 2023, during the Nômade Festival, held at Parque Villa-Lobos in São Paulo. The event brought together artists, culture enthusiasts, and music lovers, providing a high-visibility platform for the selected works.
